FC Fisico made their debut at PEP III after Revilo Selim Llessur was chosen as the man to lead the new franchise after a sensational few years at Hellas Veronas where he turned the unfashionable Italian club in to challengers at the top of Serie A.
He couldn't achieve immediate success with El Corredores though and had to settle with a 1 - 0 victory to Carpe Diem as their only triumph.
Worse was to follow at PEP IV when the team slumped and finished bottom of the pile. Not even a victory against arch rivals San'chez was enough to stem the fans anger and after an infamous 'root and branch' investigation, the team have improved.
Signifcantly, they entered into a technical relationship with perennial champions Shanghai and have benefited greatly form the shared coaching, facilities and resources.
A sixth place at PEP V was bettered at PEP VI when they finally achieved the "best of the rest" status with a solid fourth place.
It seems just a matter of time before they break through the glass ceiling.
